What will you be doing as an Electrical Hardware Engineer?
As an electrical hardware engineer at Selo, you are responsible for the engineering of electrical installations and systems we use for our machines. You work together in a project team of project engineers, process engineers, software engineers and project leaders. Together, you take care of the design and realization of the projects. From simple controls to systems for operating machines and complex process systems. You make and monitor the quality of the drawings, the modifications to them and the delivered hardware.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for basic and detail engineering of electrical systems
- Drafting and working out customer specific parts
- Making PL calculations in accordance with machine safety standards
- Monitor progress and technical execution of your project
- Transfer to-and support of-panel assembly
- Experience within the food sector or machine factory is a strong plus

Your profile
For the Electrical Hardware Engineer position, we are looking for enthusiastic and talented specialist who sees electrical engineering as a challenge. You will work independently on projects and, where necessary, seek cooperation between different departments within Selo. To be successful in this role, you will bring the following baggage with you:
- Bachelor level of work and thought, obtained through education or experience.
- 2-5 years working experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience within the food sector or mechanical engineering is a strong plus
- Experience with E-Plan/E-Plan Pro Panel is a plus
- Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
- Have knowledge of laws and regulations and relevant standards such as NEN1010, IEC 60204-1, IEC 61439
- Knowledge of laws and regulations of machine safety such as NEN-EN-ISO 13849
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In addition to fluency in Dutch, good proficiency in English due to the international clients and colleagues we have.
- Limited willingness to travel.
