Selo designs and constructs process and packaging systems for the food, animal food, pharmacy and non-food industries. We offer an A to Z solution: our projects are executed by us from the design phase up to the installation and configuration of the systems. We fully master and take care of all technological, automation, engineering, assembly, installation and after-sales disciplines.
Apart from process and packaging systems, Selo has been supplying artificial casings for many years. Selo Packaging executes its artificial casing activities from a separate location in Oldenzaal. In the past few years, Selo Packaging has established itself as a complete supplier of artificial casings for the meat industry and can provide advice in the field of product development and technical support for clip and sealing techniques.
Selo has five branches and is active worldwide. The head office is located in Oldenzaal, which primarily caters to the Benelux market. The four foreign branches perform comparable activities and can service their markets locally. Selo’s branches have an efficient exchange of data and know-how, thus ensuring our clients can benefit from the latest knowledge and applications in the field of process and packaging systems.
Our company consists of over 100 employees who, together, have built a stable relationship with our customers over the years. Our team consists of:
- innovative engineers, who develop concepts and machines using the latest means and their extensive experience and subsequently build them in-house.
- highly-trained technicians, who install and configure the equipment we designed and constructed at the client’s location and who subsequently service and maintain them.
- experienced project managers, who are able to translate our clients’ needs into concrete investment proposals.
With our team we constantly aim to provide a package of goods and services that fits the needs of our clients. The focus is providing a high level of added value to your packaging or process system.
In 2015, Selo entered into a strategic partnership with the Japanese Omori Machinery Company Ltd. The extensive cooperation between both companies has been intensified by the inclusion of Omori Machinery Co. Ltd. as fellow shareholder of Selo. Selo thus also became the base of operations for Omori Europe B.V. Participation in Selo provides Omori with the opportunity to further expand their global strategy in the field of horizontal flowpackers. For Selo, apart from expanding turnover, this partnership provided the opportunity to further expand its sales network outside of Europe.
